Dogs should ideally have an alert already solid. This class will go over how to start working as a team and understanding the handler’s role in the team. Handlers will learn about basic scent theory and how to start directing their dog in the search. Handlers will have 2-3 practice runs to work on the skills covered in the lecture portion.
