This is a great class to get started in the cool sport of ScentWork. Whether you are looking for an activity to do at home to keep your dogs busy mind occupied or you want to get out and compete with your dog, this is a good starting spot. Scentwork is an amazing “brain game” for the dogs. Whether your goal is to find an activity to help expend some (mental) energy for your dog at home, or whether you want to enter the world of dog sports, this is the place to start.  People will learn how to pair the scent to the odor and also discuss the advantages of a creating an alert if desired.  This is a good class to repeat until you feel that you have a solid indication to odor without the use of a “food lure” but are clearly on “food rewards”.
