This session is focused on tracking foundations for IPO. However, the foundations used for IPO are suitable for introductory SAR work or AKC tracking and each student will work on their own individualized goals. We will be focusing on field work where each dog is.  Tracking will typically be on the property of Gold Country K9 Services. Depending on the attendees and the conditions at GCK9, we may opt to adjust time slightly and adjust location of class. This is more likely to happen in April, when we may need to move to a park, if the grass starts turning to foxtails early.

Bring: Be sure to bring your dogs favorite snacks. I suggest this be something higher value that what you might use for your regular everyday treats. It is best to bring 2-3 things. Examples include; Chicken, string cheese, meatballs (broken up), Dog Food Rolls (like Lucy’s), hot dogs, etc… you know you’re dog best. Make sure you bring his appetite!
