Our Trainer Academy is unique because we combine the best of both worlds. In Phase 1, we begin teaching you via online teaching so that we can help you focus on training of actual dogs. The basic skills we can teach you while you learn from home! But then you need to get your feet wet! Phase 2 has you coming to learn here at our facility. The focus of the 5 week in person is to give you access to dogs and get your hands on as many dogs as possible during that time! The only real way to become a competent trainer is to get your hands on dogs. Under our supervision, you will learn how to do quickly work with dogs of all styles. You will also work on advanced behaviors on the dog that you choose to bring with you (must have been used in Phase 1 so we can build more skills). You will also experience dealing with clients and have the opportunity to work with some clients. You see, teaching the dog is one thing, but you must learn how to teach the people! That is where change can happen for the dog! In Phase 3, we will focus more on the business aspects of being a trainer while you are doing your “Practicum”. Upon successful completion you will be part of an elite community of trainers and have the ability to have continued support while you get started on your new path! This Academy is geared to new trainers, or existing trainers really wanting to up their game with both dogs and clients.
